Get Into Local History - In Siem Reap, consider visiting the Cambodia Landmine Museum. This was set up by a local man called Aki Ra, a former child soldier who has spent his life trying to make his country a safer place. |

Have No Fear - When crossing the road in Hanoi, take a deep breath and start walking slowly to the other side. As the local people are used to pedestrians (particularly tourists!) they will navigate around you. |

Extend Your Cruise - If at all possible take an extension to Halong Bay. In this beautiful area you can sail on a traditional wooden junk amongst spectacular rock formations, which according to local legends were created by dragons. |
