Viking River Cruises are currently looking for dedicated Customer Services Executives to join our fun and friendly team, based in our Wimbledon office.
During 2012 we will launch a fleet of 6 state-of-the-art new ships, maintaining our place as the world’s leading river cruise line and continuing our history of innovation and pushing boundaries. This expansion means we need more people to help us continue to provide the highest levels of service to our discerning clientele.
Our Customer Services Department deal with all types of pre and post cruise enquiries, and interact with customers at every stage of their booking. In addition to this they are required to deal with payments over the phone, as well as other administrative tasks. They also need to deal effectively with complaints which may arise at any stage of the booking process, and to resolve these effectively to the satisfaction of all parties.
We are looking for those who thrive on delivering exceptional customer service on each and every customer contact, whether by phone, email or letter. A strong telephone manner and the ability to empathise with all types of customers is a must, as is an excellent standard of English and preferably experience in dealing with written complaint letters. The ideal candidate would have worked in the travel industry in the past, but we would also welcome applications from those with alternative backgrounds who have a real passion for quality customer service.
