Electronic Tickets:
Most Airlines no longer issue paper tickets, you will now receive an Electronic Ticket. You must take the electronic ticket (also called a Passenger Itinerary Receipt) to the relevant airline check-in desk along with your passport, in order for the airline to provide you with a boarding card.
Special Flight Requirements:
- Specific Seats / Special Diets etc.: We are more than happy to make requests on your behalf, however please be aware that these cannot always be guaranteed.
- Frequent Flyer credit: Provide your frequent flyer number upon flight check-in, or save boarding passes/receipts and submit these to your airline (not Viking River Cruises) if needed.

Baggage Restrictions for China Travellers:
You will travel on domestic China flights during your trip. Viking River Cruises monitors baggage restrictions for these intra-China flights and regularly updates the following information: Baggage allowance for intra-China flights is very limited and strictly enforced. Excess baggage may be left behind or you may be charged a high fee. On intra-China flights, a passenger may carry on 1 piece only; with dimensions not to exceed 8 x 16 x 22 in. (20 x 40 x 55 cm) and the total weight not to exceed 11 lbs. (5 kg). Any item in excess of the above restrictions must be checked. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in carry-on luggage. Checked baggage allowance for intra-China flights is based on total weight. Passengers are allowed 44.2 pounds (20 kilograms). When packing for your destination, bear this in mind and do not over-pack your bags.
