Linden Lodge Charitable Trust, Wimbledon, London
Linden Lodge School provides a high quality educational experience for visually impaired pupils, including those who are multi-disabled and visually impaired. Linden Lodge Charitable Trust plays an important role in providing support to the school on a day-to-day basis, as well as helping to provide important new facilities when these are needed. They are proud to have supported some wonderful new facilities over the last 10 years, and look forward to hearing about new projects that need further donations in order to be realised.
Why did we choose them? Nominated by Zoe, a Sales Consultant, this is a vital and successful school near to our office. We were touched to hear about the passion and commitment of the staff to provide the best possible environment and opportunities for the pupils.

Merton Faith in Action, Merton, London
September - October 2015
Faith in Action aims to provide support, information and assistance to homeless or precariously housed individuals, including those with addictive behaviours, who are generally ‘harder to reach’ and for whom there are currently gaps in service provision. Every Wednesday and Friday throughout the year, FiA runs a Homeless Drop-in Centre with the help of volunteers. On average 50+ homeless and vulnerable people attend each session. As well as a warm and friendly welcome they can get breakfast, a high-quality hot lunch, internet access, and help with moving on.
Why did we choose them? Last Christmas, Leanne from our sales team began to collect donations for FiA last year and told us all about the charity. We all joined in, collecting lots of food and clothing for Faith in Action and so when the opportunity arose to help them again, we jumped to it.

Willows Hedgehog Rescue, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire
May - June 2015
Willows is a busy self-funded, not for profit organisation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of our native European Hedgehog. They also deliver education and awareness talks to schools, groups and for organisations such as the Wildlife Trust group and the RSPB.
Why did we choose them? As nominated by Sarah in our marketing team, our native hedgehog is seeing massive declines in numbers and it is estimated that we could lose it as a species in the next twenty or so years. Willows is staffed by a team of volunteers so every penny of funding is vital and put to amazing use.
In 2015, Viking staff raised £370.97 for the Willows Hedgehog Rescue.
