VIKING SET TO BLOOM AT CHELSEA

Following the success of our award-winning garden at last year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show, we are thrilled to lend our support to another talented gardener, Alan Gardner, at this year's event.

Alan, who will also feature in Channel 4's upcoming "The Autistic Gardener" has won numerous awards at Chelsea, Hampton Court and Tatton Park. He describes the inspiration for his garden, titled The Viking Ocean Cruises Show Garden: "I enjoy taking inspiration for my gardens from a wide range of concepts, and taking cues from Viking's Nordic heritage has been a fantastic learning. The garden includes a steel sculpture embodying the embittered tale of Skadi, the Norse goddess of the mountains, and Njord, the god of the sea; as well as a glistening pool surrounded by a rough-cut piece of granite, symbolising dramatic cliffs hewn from rolling waves."

Watch this space for updates on Alan's garden - and how you can win tickets to this prestigious event.
