Day 3 – Eger & Tokaj

Splendid Residence of the Hapsburgs

Pedal Along the Danube on a Scenic Ride

See the Klosterneuburg Abbey; according to legend, Margrave Leopold III founded the monastery during the 12th century. On his wedding day, his wife’s veil was seized by a gust of wind and later found here. Enjoy a short stop for refreshments and take a ferry ride across the Danube, pausing to gaze at the scenery before continuing your ride along the river. Cycle past Donaupark, once a derelict site and now a picturesque area celebrated for its beauty. Admire the view of the Danube Tower and surrounding lakes.
